Library Study Spaces
The Peter Marsh Library features a range of bookable spaces for group work, as well as new individual Study Pods.
Our study spaces are open for booking:
- Monday-Thursday: 9:00am-8:30pm
- Friday: 9:00am-4:30pm
A range of open non-bookable space suitable for group work is available in the Welcome Zone (the area of the Library as you enter from the SLZ)
Group Study Rooms 2, 3 & 5 and Group Study Pod 1 are located on the ground floor in the main Peter Marsh Library (T1).
Group Study Areas 6, 7 & 8 are located on T2.
Our Individual Study Pods are located on T1.

Study Pods
Book one of our Study Pods to make a video call or attend an online lecture. Pods are bookable for a maximum period of two hours.
Select the pods below for photos. Each one has lighting and a power connection.
The Study Pods are not accessible to wheelchairs. If you require an accessible space to make a video call please speak to staff at the Library Helpdesk or Contact Us.
Pods are bookable during staffed Library opening hours, and may be used on a first-come, first-served basis outside of those hours.
There are two additional Study Pods in the SLZ which do not require booking.
