Schwartz Round - bookings for ACP and PA students

Schwartz Round - bookings for ACP and PA students In-Person

Schwartz Round

Join us for the first in a series of Schwartz rounds, aimed at Advanced Clinical Practice and Physician Associate students to discuss the emotional and social aspects of working in healthcare. It will take place in-person, and will be held in M2-018 between 12:30pm -13:30pm, and a sandwich lunch will be provided .

The theme the first session will explore is "A person or patient I will never forget". You will have the opportunity to listen to stories from the panel, about a patient or person who has impacted them to the point they will never forget them. After the panel has shared their stories, there will be opportunities for students to share their thoughts and reflections. The discussions within the room will be confidential.

This is a great opportunity to develop your emotional reflective skills, and for you to share your thoughts. Benefits to students who attend will include: time to reflect, learning from others' experiences, and improved emotional well-being. Schwartz rounds are becoming common practice within healthcare, community and mental health trusts, hospices, primary care, and educational settings - so this is a great opportunity for you to attend one.
