Editing and Proofreading your work In-Person
As you near the end of the writing process, it is important that you take time to re-draft and proofread your work.
For some students, they may feel a host of emotions about re-drafting and proofreading work, some of which may be positive, and for some, it may be a negative experience. For instance, some students believe they cannot improve their writing, even though they are aware it needs to be amended. Some students need to reduce the word count, but without cutting out crucial information, they struggle to we how their writing can be made more succinct. This workshop considers the final stages of the writing process and the steps you can take to help improve your work.
