Advanced Academic writing: Year 3 and beyond In-Person
This workshop aims to provide students with an introduction to academic writing at postgraduate level and beyond by focusing on accurate and coherent methods of communication, while exploring the characteristics of good academic writing.
Although this is an introduction to advanced academic writing, staff will presume students who attend will have experience in writing at this level (Year 3 of an undergraduate degree, or similar). Ideal for students who have a sound understanding of basic academic writing skills and considering writing at an advanced level, especially if there has been a break in academia or transitioning into a postgraduate programme.
Students who do not feel they are quite at this level are invited to registers for the ‘Introduction to Academic Writing’ workshop first.
